Georgetown Village – The Basics
It’s next to another condo community called “Old Georgetown Village,” making the whole scenario extremely confusing to condo seekers in Rockville.
Georgetown Village falls under the 20852 zip code.
It was originally built in 1979 as a set of apartment buildings before being converted to condo ownership in 1985.
There are approximately 304 garden-style units with an average size between 800 and 1400 square feet.
Bedroom and Bathroom options include 1BR/1BA, 2BR/1BA, 2BR/2BA, and 3BR/2BA varieties.
Georgetown Village – Daily Living
Parking is outdoors. Permits are required, but other than that, it’s first-come, first-served for spaces.
There is a very strict pet policy.
Each unit owner can have two pets and dogs are permitted. However, pets can weigh no more than 20lbs at mature weight.
White Flint Station is three blocks away.
A code is needed to enter the building.
All units contain washers and dryers.
Additional storage is available on-site, but all units convey when the property is sold.

Some condos are equipped with fireplaces but there are no elevators.

Other notable amenities include basketball courts and a community center that is available to rent out.
Georgetown Village – Cost of Living
Condo fees range between $300 and $406 per month, depending on the size of the unit.
These fees include building maintenance, as well as all amenities.
There are NO utilities covered by the condo fees other than water.
In addition, there is a $200 move-in fee for new residents that is refundable.
Georgetown Village – Recreation
The community has an outdoor pool, but no on-site fitness center.
